From merchandising, brand development, marketing, advertising, creative, and design management—I’ve done it. From designing boxers to multi-million dollar campaigns to sweeping the shop floor. I’ve worked across the system, not just inside one part of it.

Intro

I am the retired Vice President of Brand Marketing and Creative for The Home Depot, where I led the strategic development and management of the company’s creative vision and voice. Under my leadership, the brand marketing and operations teams delivered omni-channel solutions that elevated The Home Depot's brand and empowered customers. I also played a key role in overseeing The Home Depot’s Workshops program, multicultural marketing initiatives, and earned media practice.

With over 30 years of experience, I have held leadership positions at J.C. Penney and contributed to product development and marketing for American Eagle Outfitters and various brands within the Limited Brands portfolio. I also served on the board of The Home Depot Foundation and on the University of Rhode Island’s Alumni Advancement and Communications Strategy Committee.

Currently, I advise Assembli, a VC-backed AI technology startup. I hold degrees an MFA in Desugn Management from Savannah College of Art & Design and undergraduate degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Business from The Ohio State University.
