Covid holidays felt like a hollowed-out version of the holidays we all remebered. The key elements were there, but they lacked the richness, the atmosphere, and the feeling. They lacked so many of the usual traditions. However, 2021 brought anticipation that things would return to normal and they could return to a ‘real’ holiday.  And nothing says Merry Christmas like shopping and Santa.
